T&R Tackle

I have been going to T&R tackle for 40 years. They have the best selection of custom rods and every reel you can think of. They will even build a rod to your specifics. You can buy stuff to make your own rod if you want to go that direction. Lures are something they know something about as well. If you don't know what to use and where to use it they will point you in the right direction. They service reels and will fix rods that need to be repaired. They are very knowledgeable people there. Thanks guys for staying open that long and having everything I have ever needed.

I never write reviews on Yelp - only if I have an absolutely terrible experience or a fantastic one. This was a fantastic one.

I'm here on vacation and am only used to fishing lakes and streams (I know nothing about surf casting). These guys are the type of dudes that ENJOY helping others and sharing their knowledge. I was in there for 15 minutes and learned more about surf casting than I have from watching hours of YouTube videos. They understood my objective (testing the waters, nothing serious) and equipped me appropriately without having to break the bank. These gentlemen were straight forward, and even offered advise without pushing any unnecessary products. I appreciated their help and also their respect while assisting me as I went in there knowing absolutely nothing.

If you're in Ft. Lauderdale and looking for a tackle shop, these are your guys.

Way way over priced . Not much merchandise to offer and guy to busy to get off his phone to help me . Kid working for him didn't ring me up right tried to charge me 20$ for a bag of shrimp . This place hasn't changed much still a waste of time .

T & R Tackle Shop is just what it says it is, being a small, little neighborhood tackle shop located within the community of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and having a friendly, regular customer, neighborhood feeling about it. The owner and staff are all avid, knowledgeable fishermen who are more than helping and willing to provide anyone with local tips, information and advice in order to make their customers fishing adventures more successful than they otherwise might be.

I've used them often for everything from tackle purchases to line replacements and have always been pleased with the products, services and polite friendly information they've provided.

These guys are great. I was on a trip looking to fish Anglin peer and they set me up perfectly.

Ok we are in south Florida and you can't hardly drive a block without seeing a tackle shop. I drive completely out of my way to get everything from these guys. They are honest, do what they say are going to do and are extremely helpful. It seems like the other guys are just too cool for school, not here!!!! Five stars only six stars wasn't an option!!

Excellent service and have lots of knowledge fishing the area. They sell mid to high end gear and tackle. They also build custom fishing rods. Jeff is one of the top reel repairman in South Florida. He did a great job on my Accurate and Stella and fast turnaround as long the parts are in stock. High recommend.

These guys are the best and will not only match the price of bass pro shops, but will far exceed them in servicing any issue that might come up. They are knowledgeable fisherman who will answer all questions you might have. T and R is the only place I purchase reels from.
