All all these posts are from customers with the previous owners of the tackle shop. Go there now, with the new owners, and you will see a total change in everything inside and out, and you will not leave disappointed! The staff is very friendly, and you got everything you could need involving fishing in this store. This is the best tackle store anywhere around! And the prices are great! Come check it out for yourself!

First time walking through their door, instead of greeting us, they tell (not ask) us to use the sanitizer on the counter. Then I order some bait shrimp and like most people these days, don't carry cash on me. Rather than run my card for $7 they'd rather not have my business. Ok then...out

Posted from Google review and reply to owner's comment:

Don't come here if you have a disability. Owner literally told me that they discriminate against disabled people. Yelled at me to leave because I couldn't wear a mask. Florida does not have any more mask mandates, and will be reaching out to a lawyer. Very unfair business practices.

      response to owner :
all stores that i've entered in the state of florida, and elsewhere, understand that there's a thing in America called the ADA, which protects people from discrimination against people with disabilities. by law, i am not required to show any proof of disability, and asking for such proof is illegal. i advise you to read up on local rules and regulations (https://www.adasoutheast.org/ada/publications/legal/ada-and-face-mask-policies.php#t2). i feel for your husband, but its cruel to force a mask on him (unless its an N95) since a cotton tee shirt, or any other face covering outside of an N95 mask is ineffective against the spread of covid (printed on the box if you don't believe me). if memory serves, your mask had a vent on it, which is selfish of you, since it allows all of your expiration to leave the mask, and go out into the air. I did not push any issue, i just simply stated i had a medical condition which prevented me from wearing a mask, and was immediately berated by you. If you dare, please post your security footage on youtube, or any other social media site. I give you my permission to do so. I was in your store at 11AM on friday oct 23rd. I walked in the store, you yelled at me that i need to put a mask on, and i stated that i had a medical condition. you then said that it didn't matter, or that you don't care (i can't remember which). To which i asked, do you discriminate against disabled people, which your immediate and unfaltering response was "yes".
The same way you say i can't think its ok to say things and do what i want applies to you as well. your establishement is blatantly disregarding any state directive. you are within your rights to refuse service, but if the reason is discriminating someone under the ADA, then i have the law in my corner. It shows the type of business owner you are to name call customers and saying i showed no care for myself. I am not required at all to show any medical form stating my disability to you, and have never been asked to do so. And, i was never asked for any proof of disability. its funny how i state the facts of what happened, and you go into a mean, vicious name calling tirade. I understand its your store, but the same way you don't discriminate someone for race, religion, sex, or any other protected status, such as disability, you wouldn't discriminate me. We can resolve this amicably, or I can direct you to state rep Anthony Sabatini and what he's done to protect us red blooded Americans. let me know and share your security footage of our conversation to show who's telling the truth.

The folks at Arlington bait and tackle are very helpful and made it super easy for me to pick up live bait looks like they have a really good selection of fishing accessories as well.

I'll have to come back again when I'm looking for more fishing lure.

We stumbled on this place by accident while heading to our boat. Nice selection of tackle for in or offshore fishing. We were excited to see they have live bait! Big shrimp!!! The business is family owned and operated, with great customer service!

I'll still give them a five but don't touch anything unless you want to be accused of shoplifting. I was accused of stealing on just just my second visit. Sure enough they had video but all it showed was me standing back up. I went ahead and paid them for the stupid sinker I didn't steal just to shut them up. In hindsight I should have told them " If you're so sure I stole something call the cops. I'll never ho here for tackle again bu they're good for live bait.

This is a gem of a bait shop. They have Tackle , poles bait and best of all a group of people that love to fish and know the area and what works here. Pretty big place with quite a bit of stuff. I went in for bait, found several items at a good price, came out with new gear and a few new ideas. You don't get that at the big stores. Well worth the trip, I'll be back again soon. Five stars all the way for me
