Gulf Breeze Bait & Tackle

This place was great. It was recommended to us by our boat rental "The Frisky Mermaid" (which was also amazing). I had kids and the hubs in the car so I simply told them what I needed and he did it all for me. So easy, I will return.

Good selection of tackle here, don't be fooled by the size of the storefront, it's big inside and they sell premium brands like Shimano and Van Staal.

A must stop if you are fishing the Pensacola Beach area. The staff are friendly and very helpful with questions. Bar none, my favorite bait shop. I use a GBBT coozie all year and look forward to grabbing some rigs, sand fleas, shrimp and any other gear I may need every year.

We have been coming here for years. We've spent thousands. Our visit some days ago was the last. Their staff treated us horribly. Bad culture and judgmental attitudes. Bad taste in my mouth.

This place is friendly, knowledgeable, and generally awesome. It's hard to find things because they have so much inventory but if you ask the question you'll get your answer. Really awesome place and they were more than willing to give me some tips on how to fish for the type I was after and what to look for in the surf or off the pier.

Not much to add on this one. The folks there for the most part are top notch. One possible exception is the younger employees (part time / school aged) young men that find it distracting to there texting for me to ask for bait.

But I won't knock them on that. It has been a while but I was probably just the same when I was younger. Convenience, 24 hrs, good products for sale, reasonable prices.

Great place to shop for any/all your fishing and beach needs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They offer live and fresh bait.
