Big Al's Bait & Tackle

Went in today looking for a new reel because I broke mine. Al and Joe couldn't have been helpful in choosing one and even taught me how to set the line and everything. Recommended the right bait and hooks for my situation. Great conversation and tips for any novice. Definitely will be back. Thanks again guys. Stay safe everyone.

Waited a long time for service while the employee talked on his cell phone to a girl. Planning his weekend with her was more important than selling me bait and a fishing rod.

DO NOT GO HERE! Was only in the store for maybe 5 minutes to buy a lure, one of the workers sitting had his fly open and balls hanging out, and the other guy was smoking a cigarette inside the store. Mind you, there were kids in the store right before I walked in. I don't know who hired those guys, but I would fire them in a heartbeat. When I called to explain that the guys coworker had his balls out I didn't even get so much as an apology, just a nonchalant "oh okay" as if he didn't care. If I owned that store I would be absolutely embarrassed by these guys. And who smokes cigarettes inside anymore? As if the guy is too lazy to walk outside for 5 minutes, but instead feels like every customer should be subjected to his disgusting habit. Never again. What a joke.

Customer service was great every time I've went over the past week,they were really helpful with everything and couldn't have been nicer.

I came to this bait shop to get live shrimp I arrived at 5:50pm and was waiting for a friend to meet up w me so we can go half on them and all go fishing well he gets there at 6:15 and the lady with the grey mustang closed so we knocked on the door and she key started her car then came out at 6:20, I said u guys close at 7 correct and she turns around and yells well I close when the .... I want to, got in her car and literally skirts her tires in the parking lot I wish I got the whole thing on video if you guys are going to close at not even 6:30 u should most definitely correct the timing I drove all the way across town for nothing

Great local bait shop. They have always been very helpful. My son is newer to saltwater fishing and we alway have a ton of questions. Much prefer to support a small local when I can over a big box store.

Went in to buy shrimp. I asked if I should use a split shot on my line to fish from the bridge. The owner replied with an attitude saying "I'm counting money." Then I asked the other employee at the counter what kind of fish they were catching at the bridge today, and he told me "I'm counting shrimp." In summary, two questions asked and no replies. They were rude and nasty. When I walked, rather than being greeted, I was yelled at for where I put my shrimp bucket. Find another place to buy your tackle. The people that work at bings landing are great. Much friendlier and very helpful. Will never return to this shop.

Went here twice to get bait and the customer service was great! Very friendly and had everything that I needed.

We want bait early in the morning. Since Al left the store is always still closed in the early hours.

Good selection of bait and accessories, conveniently located near the pier. Seems like most of the folks working there have a salty attitude I could do without.
